sewing is going slowly

I can't believe how many other things I have needed to get done. I did make cloth wipes and swipper pads but other than that I have done nada. I think the move with the new husband and the kids have been keeping me very busy and trying to fit two house full of things in one house... We need to have a yard sell:)

so

the sewing hasn't been going anywhere. Right now I have been painting and cleaning the new trailer home and trying to get it ready for inspection. I don't know what I would do without my family helping. It has been a very stressful experience.
I also have been getting ready for consignment season. It took me four hours but I finally got everything entered into the computer. Now to tag the items when I pick up the labels.
Hopefully I will get around to my sewing sometime.

The long lost attempt

Well it seems that my attempt to sew went out the window. I tried to make a few mama pads which turned out to be functional but not very pretty. I also fixed some of my son's flats that had developed holes. I just embellished them with some cheap fleece pirate fabric I picked up on clearance. It works well but I should have tucked the ends down before I sewed it. But hey, live and learn. My next project will be perfecting the mama pads and sewing on an A to a tee shirt for my son from a shirt I had that had a hole appear in it. Pictures to follow.....

Attempting

I have decided that I need to know how to sew and smock. So this is going to begin my endeavor. I'm going to show my successes and failures. I'm getting tired of seeing all the cute stuff I could be making myself and who knows, if I get good enough I can sell them!
